Project Statement

by C. Dworkin

"A Book of Closings is a chronological arrangement of 'closings' extracted from Irving Layton and Robert Creeley: The Complete Correspondence, 1953-1978, edited by Ekbert Faas and Sabrina Reed. After reading this bit at the Small Publisher's Fair in London the autumn of 1994, it was Erica Van Horn's useful encouragement that inspired me to print Closings as a handset, letterpress, unbound book at the Kunstlerhaus Bethanian in Kreutzberg."[quoted from Cuneiform Website, 1 December, 2005]
